PixPipeline.com will not sell or distribute your personal information to anyone. This information is simply used for targeted advertising you see on our pages.

3) How much storage space do I get with my account?

4) Can I increase my storage with a Premium or Pro acount?

At this time PixPipeline.com does not offer Premium or Pro pay accounts, however, we are currently considering these options as future upgrades to the PixPipeline.com website.

5) What does "delete original image after resizing" mean?

To save space on your account, we automatically resize larger images to be no bigger than 750px wide or 750px high. After the image is resized, the original is automatically deleted to save even more space. If you want to keep your original image on our server, simply uncheck this option. It is located on the Manage Galleries section of your account.

6) How do I access the original image I uploaded?

Here at PixPipeline.com, images are located with a default address system. For example, a typical URL for an image hosted on your account would be:

http://pixpipeline.com/d/imagename.jpg

To access the original image you uploaded (assuming you have unchecked the "delete original" option), simply replace the letter "d" in the URL with a "dl", as shown here:

http://pixpipeline.com/dl/imagename.jpg

7) Can I hotlink the images in my gallery?

Of course you can.As noted above in question #6, we use a basic addressing system for our images. A typical gallery image can be found with the following URL:

http://pixpipeline.com/d/imagename.jpg

To hotlink to the stand-alone image, simply replace the letter "d" in the url with the letter "s", as shown here:

http://pixpipeline.com/s/imagename.jpg

8) How do I email photos from my camera phone to my account?

One of the great features here at PixPipeline.com, is that we allow registered users to upload photos from their camera phone to their PixPipeline account. To setup this feature, you need to know the email address of your cell phone. This can be found by sending a simple text message from your phone to an existing email account you have. The "reply-to" address in the email you receive from your phone, is the email address of your phone.

For example, Cingular uses the following email address format for their multi-media text messages. The numerical digits at the begining is your cell phone number:

8885551111@mms.mycingular.com

Once you have your cell phone number's email address, enter it into the "Primary Mobile E-mail" space on your My Account Preferences page. Next, using the "Move to Gallery" drop down menu, select a gallery you would like the photos from your camera phone to be stored in. Click the "Update Preferences" button to submit the changes.

After clicking the "Update Preferences" button, a text message will be sent to your camera phone with a confirmation code. This is to ensure that you are the owner of the phone being registered. Simply enter the confirmation code on our Mobile Activation page, and your account is now setup to receive images from your camera phone!

Now all you have to do is send the images from your camera phone in a message to our email address, pix@pixpipeline.com, and your image will be automatically saved to your account!!

9) How do I link my family and friends to my photos?

PixPipeline.com uses a very simple addressing system so your friends and family can easily find your photos. The public page for your gallery can be found at the following URL:

http://pixpipline.com/users/yourusername

You can also use links to send people to specific images in your gallery. To use this feature, click the My Account button on the menu bar, and select Manage Galleries. Under the Manage Galleries section, you can find the URL for specific images, and entire sub-galleries. Just copy and past the address for a certain gallery or photo to anyone you like.

Under the Manage Galleries area, you can also delete images, move images, rename galleries, and even password-protect galleries for privacy!

10) How long will my photos stay on PixPipeline.com?

If you have a registered account, your photos will stay online as long as your account is active. We will never delete your photos! However, images uploaded with the "one-click" upload option on the PixPipeline.com homepage will be deleted after 60 days. We strongly recommend you register for your own account to avoid having your images deleted.

While we do not have the time to monitor all of of the accounts at PixPipeline.com, we do do not allow photos of any offensive, objectionable, or illegal content. If we receive complaints about a member posting offensive or explicit images, we will investigate the user and possibly suspend/terminate their account. 12) How do I close my account?

On your My Account page, click the "Close Account" option. This will take you to a verification page that will confirm that you want to close the account.
